BV Velo's First Year

With the support of our generous sponsors, and the buy-in from the Bulkley Valley cycling community, BV Velo had a first year that was above and beyond what we ever expected! Here are some highlights of the 2025 season:

Club Memberships: 41 full memberships (34 adult, 7 youth), 75 'Meet & Greet' memberships for individual rides

Coach Training: Cycling BC and Canada Cycling coach training.

Group Rides: 14 Youth Program rides and training sessions, 35 adult group rides

Programs: Two-month youth Program

Events: Women's Clinic, Triathlon Cycling Clinic, Three BV Velo social events, Strava 'Malkow in the Middle' event, Spooky Cross - Cyclocross Race

Outreach: Facebook (192 members), Strava (102 members), Instagram (61 followers), Canadian Cycling Magazine Club Profile (Sep. 2025), 'Totally Spoke'd' - Rules of the Road (CICK Radio, June 27, 2025)
